Chess has gambits, but bridge? Sometimes. Consider this deal.

♠ Q108
QJ92
10965
♣ 84

♠ A3
AK
AQ
♣ AKJ10965

You opened 2♣ and ended as declarer in 6NT. The opening lead is the 3.

If clubs behave you still have two likely losers and no way to cash dummy's hearts. What to do?

I propose cashing the other top heart at trick 2 and then tabling the ♣J. If the opponent holding the queen ducks it, they are too tough for you and me. Otherwise you'll have a trip to dummy and 12 tricks.
