Restricted Choice

I play with this bridge app on my phone sometimes. Its bidding is atrocious but sometimes it turns up an interesting deal.
On one I had, as declarer, a trump suit like AK9xxx opposite 10x in dummy. On playing the Ace, the Jack drops on my left.
If you can only afford to lose one trick, better lead low to the 10. If you need them all, lay down the King and pray. Otherwise the principle of restricted choice applies, telling us that the Jack was probably singleton (it was) and leading low is in order.
