The Coffs Harbour club's web site is here.
Of special note there is the Results link where you can see how you did in past games, which is great if you had to leave before results were posted or if no hand records were available.

I play with this bridge app on my phone sometimes. Its bidding is atrocious but sometimes it turns up an interesting deal. On one I had, as declarer, a trump suit like AK9xxx opposite 10x in dummy. On playing the Ace, the Jack drops on my left. If you can only afford to lose one trick, better lead l...

Re: resuming play at bridge clubs after the lockdown
Good questions! I'm hoping a vaccination becomes available, and then perhaps players can be required to show proof of immunity. Absent that, it doesn't look good for "real life" bridge.

Greetings from the Site Administrator
My wife Lucy and I lived for 17 years in Northern California, USA, and visited Australia in July 2017 as tourists. We fell in love with this beautiful country and its people, sold our home in California, and bought a home near Coffs Harbour in July of 2018. I'm actually a dual citizen, Australian by...

Welcome to Bridge in Oz
The COVID-19 pandemic has been a disaster for the game of bridge. When it hit Australia bridge clubs closed, including my home club in Coffs Harbour. Members were left with no good way to communicate with each other except one-to-one. Community interaction was lost. I was inspired to create this dis...

How to Post Bridge Hands
When you compose or edit a posting here you'll see some buttons above the data entry area. Two of these are "block" and "hand". Clicking either of these generates a snippet of text (called "bbcode") with the cursor positioned in the middle of it where you can enter some...

How to post pictures from Google Photos
I use Google Photos to store and manage most of my photos, but it's not obvious how to insert images from there into a forum posting without exposing your Google account and all the other photos in it. Then I ran across this article which described a somewhat difficult method, but led me to an easie...
